Sam joined the civils team at CGW in 2023, bringing six years experience in flood risk management consultancy in the UK. His focus is on flooding prevention, floodwater infrastructure design and business case management.
As a civil designer, he has delivered flood risk management schemes with capital values from $250k to $50M. His experience includes engineering design & reporting, multi-dimensional modelling & visualisation, economic analysis and benefit-cost assessment.
His time overseas included project management work for City Councils, coordinating public engagement and design of coastal flood defences for rural communities.
Outside of work, Sam can usually be found with a racket in hand or travelling the country with his partner, looking for whales.
